Roger Smith 1967'de

Roger LaVerne Smith (d. 18 Aralık 1932 -ö. 4 Haziran 2017), Amerikalı oyuncu, şarkıcı ve senaristtir. Yer aldığı polisiye tarzında televizyon dizisi 77 Sunset Strip ve komedi dizisi Mister Roberts ile bilinir. Kendisi gibi oyuncu Ann-Margret 1967'de ile evlenerek 2017' yılında kendisinin ölümüne kadar 50 yıllık beraberlikleri olmuştur.[1]

1953'te başladığı oyunculuk kariyerini 1977'de noktalayan Roger Smith bu tarihten sonra şarkıcı ve senarist olarak çalışmalarda bulunmuştur.

Smith South Gate, Kaliforniya'da doğdu. Arizona Üniversitesi'nde eğitim gördü. New York Post gazetesine verdiği röportajda, eşi oyuncu Ann-Margret'a kendisinde parkinson hastalığı olmadığını ifade etmiştir.[2] oyuncu ve senarist Roger Smith 84 yaşında 4 Haziran 2017 tarihinde Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles'ta Sherman Oaks Hastanesinde eşinden sakladığı Parkinson hastalığından kaynaklı komplikasyonlardan ölmüştür.[3]
