Rio Grande[2] (Portekizce, büyük nehir anlamında) güney Brezilya'da yer alan bir nehirdir. Minas Gerais eyaletindeki Mantiqueira Dağları'ndan doğar ve batıdan kuzeybatıya doğru ilerler. Aşağı bölümleri, Minas Gerais-São Paulo sınırının bir bölümünü oluşturur. 1.090 km'lik (677 mi) bir yolculuktan sonra, Mato Grosso do Sul eyalet sınırında,[3] Paranaíba Nehri'ne katılarak Yukarı Paraná Nehri'ni oluşturur.

  • Kaynağı Barbacena ve Senhora dos Remédios arasında bulunan Rio das Mortes;
