Oskar Lapp (d. 20 Mart 1921, Benshausen, Thüringen; ö. 25 Nisan 1987 Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg) bir Alman girişimci ve mucitti. 1959 yılında eşi Ursula Ida Lapp ile birlikte Stuttgart'ta Lapp Holding'i kurdu . Bugün Lapp Holding, yaklaşık 4.575 çalışanı ve yaklaşık 1.128 milyon Euro'luk geliri (2020) ile kablo teknolojisi alanında küresel bir şirkettir.[1]

Hayat

Oskar Lapp başlangıçta torna operatörü ve tamircisi olarak eğitim gördü ve babasının torna parçaları ve valfler üreten şirketine katıldı . İkinci Dünya Savaşı'nın ardından 2 yıl soviyetlere esir düştü. 1949'dan 1952'ye kadar Schmalkalden Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversitesi'nde makine mühendisliği okudu. 1951'de Ursula Ida ile evlendi. 1957'de aile Stuttgart'a taşındı . Orada Oskar Lapp, Harting şirketinde mühendis olarak işe başladı.[2]

Lapp Holding

1958'de Oskar Lapp, dünyanın ilk endüstriyel olarak üretilen kontrol kablosunu icat etti . Ürün daha sonra Ölflex markasıyla tanındı . Buluştan önce, hortumlara ayrı ayrı teller çekilirdi . Tüm bileşenler siyah olduğundan, birbirine ait olan kablo uçlarını ayırma çabası çok zaman alıyordu. Bireysel teller için renk kodunun icadıyla, çaba önemli ölçüde azaldı. Şirketi ilk kez müşterinin istediği uzunlukta önceden üretilmiş kablo demetleri sundu. 1959'da eşiyle birlikte Lapp Holding'i kurdu. Takip eden yıllarda şirket sürekli büyüyerek günümüzün uluslararası şirketi haline geldi.
