Mehmet Emir

Mehmet Emir ya da Mehmet Cavit ya da Mehmet Demir[1] (d. 1880, Burhaniye, Balıkesir) - (ö. 3 Ekim 1950), Türk siyasetçi.

Hususi eğitim almıştır. Fabrikatörlük, Çiftçilik, Kazar İdare Meclisi Üyeliği, Livâ Genel Meclisi, Donanma Cemiyeti, Maârif Maliye Cemiyeti Üyelikleri, Müdafaa-yı Hukuk Başkanlığı, Ayvalık Cephesi Millî Alay Komutanlığı, İzmir Kuzey Cephesi Grup Komutanlığı, Genel İhtiyat Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı, TBMM II. Dönem Karesi, III., IV., V., VI.ve VII. Dönem Balıkesir Milletvekilliği yapmıştır. İstiklal Madalyası sahibidir. Evli ve altı çocuk babasıdır.[2]
