Mavri Mira

Mavri Mira, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün Nutuk adlı eserindeki 1 numaralı belgeye göre İstanbul Rum Patrikhanesi'nde kurulmuş heyetin adıdır. Başkanı, İstanbul Rum Patrik Vekili Droteos'tur. Yunan hükûmetinden nakdi yardım almakta olup temel görevi Osmanlı vilayetleri içerisinde çeteler oluşturmak, bu çeteleri idare etmek, miting ve propaganda faaliyeti yürütmektir. Ayrıca insani (tıbbi ilaç vb.) yardım adı altında Osmanlı ülkesine silah ve cephane taşımakla görevlidir. Yunan Kızılhaçı ile Rum okullarındaki izci teşkilatları da bu heyete bağlıdır. 2 numaralı belgeye göre ise Trabzon, Samsun ve bütün Karadeniz sahillerinde faaliyet gösteren "Pontus Cemiyeti" de merkeze bağlı olarak işlemektedir.

Pek mevsuk elde edilen malumata göre İstanbul Rum Patrikhanesinde “Mavri Mira” isminde bir heyet teşekkül etmiştir. Bunun Reisi Patrik Vekili Droteos. Azaları: Atinegora, İnoz Metropolidi, Yunan Kaymakamı Giritli Katehakis, Katelopolos, Dipasimas, Ayinpa, Polimitis, Siyari ismindeki zevattır.

Heyet doğrudan doğruya Venizelos'tan talimat alıyor. Rumların ve Yunan Hükûmetinin muavenet-i nakdiyesiyle pek azim bir sermayesi vardır.

Vazifesi; Osmanlı vilayetleri dâhilinde çeteler teşkil ve idare eylemek, mitingler ve propaganda yapmaktır. Yunan salib-i ahmeri de bu “Mavri Mira” heyetine merbuttur. Vazifesi suretâ muhacirlere bakmak gibi insani bir perde altında çete teşkilatı yapmak, tertibat-ı ihtilâliyeyi ihzar eylemektir. Bu suretle eczâ-i tıbbîye ve levâzım-ı sıhhiye nâmı altında silah, cephane ve teçhizatı Memâlik-i Osmanîyeye ithaldir. Hatta resmi muhacirin komisyonu da “Mavri Mira” heyetine tabidir.

İstanbul Patrikhanesi ve Yunan Konsoloshanesi esliha ve cephâne deposu halini almıştır ve hatta kiliseler ibadet yerinden ziyade askeri ambarlar gibi kullanılmaktadır.

Ermeni Patriği “Zaven” Efendi de “Mavri Mira” heyeti tarafından satın alınmıştır.

Rum mekteplerinin evvelce bizim yapıp da tam şimdi sırası iken maalesef terk ettiğimiz izci teşkilatları tamamen “Mavri Mira” heyeti tarafından idare olunmaktadır. İstanbul, Bursa, Bandırma, Kırkkilise, Tekirdağ ve mülhakatında izci teşkilatı itmam olunmuştur. İzciler yalnız çocuklar değildir. Yirmi yaşını mütecaviz gençler de dahildir. Anadolu'da Samsun ve Trabzon cephane tevzi mahallidir. Müsait bir halde bir yelkenli Yunan sefinesi istasyon halinde cephane ve eslihayı hâmilen bu mahallerde bulundurulacaktır. Ermeni hazırlığı da tamamen Rum hazırlığı gibidir.
