Kont István Bittó de Sárosfa et Nádasd (3 Mayıs 1822, Sárosfa - 7 Mart 1903, Budapeşte), Macar siyasetçi. Bittó, Avrupa'da Avusturya-Macaristan İmparatorluğu'nun bir parçası olan Macaristan Krallığı'nda 1874 ile 1875 yılları arasında başbakanlık makamında bulunmuştur.

Bittó hukuk alanında eğitim aldıktan sonra, hukuki görevlerde bulunmak üzere devlet hizmetine dahil olmuştur. 1848 Macar Devrimi döneminde devrimci olarak yer alan Bittó, aynı süreçte Reichstag'da vekil olarak bulunmaktaydı. 1849 yılında Macaristan'ın yenilgisi ile sonuçlanan devrim neticesinde ülkeyi terk eden Bittó, 1851 yılında yeniden ülkesine geri dönmüştür. 1861 yılında yeniden toplanan Reichstag'ın vekilleri arasında yer alan Bittó, Ferenc Deák'in liberal partisinin üyesi olarak hizmet vermiştir.[1] Avusturya ile imzalanan 1867 Avusturya-Macaristan Antlaşması çerçevesinde 1869 yılında Temsilciler Meclisi başkan yardımcılığı görevine getirilen Bittó, bu görevi 1872 yılına kadar sürdürmüştür. Menyhért Lónyay önderliğinde oluşturulan hükûmette 1871 ile 1872 yılları arasında Adalet Bakanı olan Bittó, 10 Eylül 1872 ile 23 Mart 1874 tarihleri arasında Temsilciler Meclisi sözcülüğü görevini üstlenmiştir.[2]

1 Mart 1874 tarihinde kral Franz Joseph tarafından başbakanlık makamına atanan Bittó, bu makamda 2 Mart 1875 tarihine kadar kalmıştır. Söz konusu tarihte gerçekleştirilen yeni atama ile başbakanlık makamına Béla Wenckheim getirilmiştir.[1]

Kálmán Tisza dönemini yaşandığı 1875 ile 1890 yılları arasında muhalefette yer alarak, eski başbakanlar arasında daha önce liberal olup da daha sonra muhalefete geçen ilk eski başbakan olmuştur. 1899 yılında ölümüne kadar Reichstag'ın bir üst kanadı olan Főrendiház'da yer almıştır.

7 Mart 1903 tarihinde 80 yaşında Budapeşte'de ölmüştür.[3]
