II. Hrisostomos (Yunanca: Χρυσόστομος Β΄) doğum adı ile Irodotos Dimitriou (Yunanca: Ηρόδοτος Δημητρίου, 10 Nisan 1941, Baf - 7 Kasım 2022, Güney Lefkoşa), 2006-2022 yılları arasında Kıbrıs Ortodoks Kilisesi başpiskoposu olarak görev aldı.

Babasını 10 yaşında, annesini ise 12 yaşında kaybetti. İlkokul eğitiminden sonra Baf'ta bulunan Ayios Neophtyos Manastırı'na yerleşti. Aynı zamanda lise eğitimine devam etti ve buradan 1963'te mezun oldu. Aynı yılın 3 Kasım günü Piskopos Trimithounda Georgios tarafından kendisine papaz unvanı verildi.

Beş yıl içinde manastırda mütevelli olarak görev yaptı ve aynı zamanda bir çiftlikte çalıştı. 1968'de Atina Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi'ne kayıt oldu ve 1972'de mezun oldu. 19 Ekim 1972'de St. Neophytos Manastırı'na ekümen seçildi. 12 Kasım 1972'de piresbiteros (piskopostan sonraki en önemli papaz) rütbesi aldı ve Başpiskopos III. Makarios tarafından ekümenliğe (baş rahiplik) terfi edildi.

III. Makarios'un cumhurbaşkanlığına her zaman destekleyerek Atina'daki Yunan cunta yönetimine karşı çıktı[kaynak belirtilmeli] ve üç metropolit ile 1974 Kıbrıs Darbesine yol açtı.[kaynak belirtilmeli]

25 Şubat 1978'de Baf metropoliti seçildi ve 26 Şubat 1978'de kutsama töreni gerçekleşti. Baf Bölgesi'nde 50 mabet ve onlarca şapel ile beş Bizans müzesinin yapımında rol oynadı.

Başpiskopos I. Hrisostomos'un hastalanması nedeniyle 24 Eylül 2006'da yerine vekil seçildi. Metropolit Hrisostomos, 5 Kasım 2006'da ise "Kıbrıs Başpiskoposu" olarak II. Hrisostomos oldu ve 12 Kasım 2006'da görevine başladı.[1]

Ölümü

II. Hrisostomos 7 Kasım 2022'de 81 yaşında Güney Lefkoşa'da öldü.[2][3] 12 Kasım 2022'de Apostolos Varnavas katedralinde Fener Rum Patriği I. Bartholomeos'un yönettiği ayinin ardından katedralin altında özel olarak tasarlanmış mezara defnedildi. Cenaze törenine Kıbrıs Cumhurbaşkanı Nikos Anastasiadis, Yunanistan Cumhurbaşkanı Katerina Sakelaropulu, İskenderiye Patriği II. Theodore, Atina Başpiskoposu, Papa Franciscus'un özel temsilcisi katıldı.[4]
