Başak Özel (22 Mart 1971, İstanbul - 20 Eylül 2022, İstanbul), Türk tiyatro, sinema ve dizi oyuncusu.

Hayatı

Sanat hayatına Ankara Sanat Merkezi'nde aldığı tiyatro kurslarıyla başlayan Başak Özel, daha sonra Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu ve Ali Hünal Kabare Tiyatrosu'nda oyunculuk deneyimini geliştirdi. Çeşitli bankaların çocuk tiyatrosu topluluklarında, Ankara Halk Tiyatrosu ve Ankara Ekin Tiyatrosu'nda görev yaptı. Tiyatronun dışında kamera karşısına da geçerek, sinema ve dizi filmlerde rol aldı. ÇASOD üyesi olan sanatçı, şiir ve öykü yazdı, redaksiyon ve seslendirme yaptı.

Özel, 20 Eylül 2022 tarihinde kanser nedeniyle hayatını kaybetti.[1] Cenazesi Feriköy Mezarlığı'nda toprağa verildi.[2]
