Tipo ng titik

Sa tipograpiya, ang ponte, tipo ng titik, o tipo ng letra (Ingles: font, fount) ay ang laki, hugis, at estilo ng titik sa paglilimbag. Ito ang lahat ng mga titik o mga karakter ng isang iisang sukat ng isang pamilya ng tipo ng titik (typeface).[1] Halimbawa, ang lahat ng mga karakter para sa 9 puntos o 9 na tuldok ng Bulmer ay isang ponte, at ang 10 puntos ay isa ring ibang ponte. Dahil sa pagtaas ng paggamit ng mga personal na kompyuter o pansariling kompyuter, nabago ang kahulugan nito. Kadalasan na ngayon itong ginagamit bilang ibang pangalan para sa isang tipong-mukha. Ang sukat ng mga karakter ay walang epekto sa mga ponte kapag ginagamit sa ganitong kahulugan.
