Stanford Moore (* 4. september 1913, Chicago, Illinois, USA – † 23. august 1982, New York, New York) bol americký biochemik, nositeľ Nobelovej ceny za chémiu za rok 1972. Získal ju spolu s Christianom B. Anfinsenom a Williamom Howardom Steinom za štúdium vzťahu medzi štruktúrou a funkciou biologicky aktívnych bielkovín, najmä enzýmu ribonukleázy.[1]
Roku 1935 absolvoval Vanderbilt University, doktorát získal na University of Wisconsin–Madison roku 1938. Potom nastúpil do Rockefellerovho ústavu, neskoršie Rockefellerovej univerzity, kde zostal po zvyšok svojej pracovnej kariéry s výnimkou doby druhej svetovej vojny. Profesorom sa stal v roku 1952.
