Pavol Poničan (Ponicsan) (* 28. december 1875, Očová – † 22. február 1929, Bratislava) bol slovenský právnik.

Životopis

Navštevoval ľudovú školu v Očovej, študoval na gymnáziu v Banskej Bystrici a v Banskej Štiavnici a na právnickej fakulte v Budepešti. Pracovník notárskeho úradu v Očovej, úradník, podnotár, 1920 vedúci administratívy župného úradu v Banskej Bystrici, 1922 pracovník Ministerstva s plnou mocou pre správu Slovenska, 1927 vedúci samosprávneho odboru Krajinského úradu v Bratislave. Popredný slovenský odborník v administratívnom práve, zaslúžil sa o výchovu kádrov pre notárske úrady, 1919 v Banskej Bystrici založil a viedol prvý slovenský náukobeh, významne prispel k realizácii župnej reformy. Prispieval do odbornej tlače i do novín. Spoluzakladateľ a úradujúci podpredseda Zväzu sociálnych-zdravotných spolkov na Slovensku.
