František Nedvěd (* 19. september 1947, Praha – † 18. júl 2021, Praha[1]) bol český folkový spevák, gitarista, skladateľ a textár. Po hudobných začiatkoch v niekoľkých bigbítových a trampských skupinách sa spolu so svojím bratom Janom Nedvědom preslávil ako člen folkovej skupiny Brontosauři (1972 – 1994) a folkovo-gospelovej skupiny Spirituál kvintet (1974 – 1992). Neskôr s Janom Nedvědom vytvoril duo označované i ako Nedvědi. Od roku 1994 si František Nedvěd súbežne budoval sólovú kariéru zameranú prevažne na country.

Od roku 1986 sa hudbe venoval profesionálne

18. júla 2021 zomrel v Pražskej nemocnici na rakovinu pľúc. Mal 73 rokov.

Osobný život

Okrem brata Jana mal i sestru Ludmilu.[2] Bol ženatý, jeho synovia František Nedvěd a Vojtěch aj synovec Jan Nedvěd ml. sú taktiež hudobníci.
