Esslingen (nem. Landkreis Esslingen) je krajinský okres v centre spolkovej krajiny Bádensko-Württembersko v Nemecku. Tento okres susedí (zo severu v smere hodinových ručičiek) s okresmi Rems-Murr, Göppingen, Reutlingen, Böblingen a nezávislým mestským okresom mestom Stuttgart.

Geografia

Okres Esslingen rozdeľuje na dve polovice rieka Neckar. Západnú časť tvorí rovina Filder, zatiaľ čo východnú časť tvorí pohorie Švábska Jura (Schwäbische Alb).
