Zoran Stanković (Serbian Cyrillic: Зоран Станковић, pronounced [zǒran stǎːŋkoʋitɕ]; 9 November 1954 – 5 October 2021) was a Serbian major-general and politician. He was the Minister of Defence between 2005 and 2007.[1] He was also the Minister of Health between 2011 until 2012. Stanković was born in Tegovište, then-Yugoslavia.
He ran for President of Serbia in the 2012 election, losing in fifth place.
Stanković died on 5 October 2021 in Belgrade, Serbia from COVID-19 at the age of 66.[2]
