Ruben Marinelarena Gallego /ˈruːbən ˌɡaɪˈɛɡoʊ/ (born November 20, 1979) is an American Democratic politician who is the junior United States Senator from Arizona since 2025. He was the U.S. Representative for Arizona's 7th congressional district from 2015 to 2025.^[1] He is a Democrat. He was the National Chair of Eric Swalwell’s 2020 presidential campaign.

Gallego was the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate in the 2024 election.^[2] He won the election in November 2024, beating Republican Kari Lake.^[3]
