Jenniffer Aydin González Colón (born August 5, 1976) is a Puerto Rican politician. She has been the 190th and current governor of Puerto Rico since 2025. She was the 20th resident commissioner of Puerto Rico from 2017 to 2025.[ 1]
Before, González-Colón was the chair of the Puerto Rico Republican Party , speaker and minority leader of the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico , and vice-chair of the PNP.[ 2] [ 3] [ 4] [ 5]
She is the second elected and third serving female governor, after Sila María Calderón and Wanda Vázquez Garced , and she is also the first and only woman to be elected or serve as Resident Commissioner.[ 6]
