Daria Hennadiyivna Bilodid (Ukrainian: Дар'я Геннадіївна Білодід; born 10 October 2000) is a Ukrainian judoka.[1] She won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.[2] She was in the 2018 Guinness World Records for being the youngest female judo world champion.[3][4]

Career

When Bilodid was 17 years old, she won the 2018 World Championships.[5] This made her the youngest female judo world champion.[6]

At the 2020 Summer Olympics, Bilodid won a bronze medal.[7] This was Ukraine's first Olympic medal in women's judo.[8]

At the 2024 Summer Olympics, Bilodid was disqualified after getting three penalties.[9][10]

Personal life

Bilodid's father, Gennadiy Bilodid [en], is a retired judoka. He has won the 2001 European Championships and the 2003 European Championships.[11]

Bilodid's mother, Svetlana Kuznetsova, is also a retired judoka. She is now a coach.
