Opština Žitorađa je jedna od opština u Republici Srbiji. Nalazi se u centralnoj Srbiji i spada u Toplički okrug. Po podacima iz 2004. opština zauzima površinu od 214 km² (od čega na poljoprivrednu površinu otpada 17881 ha, a na šumsku 2592 ha).

Centar opštine je naselje Žitorađa. Opština Žitorađa se sastoji od 30 naselja. Po proceni iz 2004. godine u opštini je živelo 17887 stanovnika, a prosečna starost je 41,72 godine. Po podacima iz 2004. prirodni priraštaj je iznosio -7,5‰, dok je u opštini bila zaposlena 1341 osoba. U opštini se nalazi 20 osnovnih škola i jedna srednja.

Žitorađa je oko 10 km od autoputa E-75 (Niš-Makedonija-Grčka) i 35 km jugozapadno od Niša. Slava opštine je Petrovdan.
