Митилини

Митили́ни[1][2][3][4][5], также Митили́нский проли́в[6] (греч. Στενό της Μυτιλήνης, тур. Midilli Boğazı) — пролив Эгейского моря между греческим островом Лесбос и западным побережьем Турции[1] (полуострова Малая Азия)[2][3][4][5].

На берегу пролива расположен главный город и порт Лесбоса Митилини[2][3][4][5]. В византийский период название Митилина часто употребляли по отношению ко всему острову[7]. Паромное сообщение через пролив связывает Митилини с Айвалыком и Дикили.

Пролив ведёт из залива Чандарлы на юго-востоке в залив Эдремит[5] мимо бухты Дикили[2][3][4].

У южного входа в пролив, напротив мыса Агрилья[англ.] находятся острова Бастон (Аргинусские острова)[8]. Между мысами Махера и Маврос-Лофос — остров Памфилон, у Айвалыка — острова Моско (Чиплакада, Гюнеш и другие)[4].
