Воздух Парижа (фр. L'air de Paris) — французский фильм 1954 года режиссера Марселя Карне по роману Жака Вио «Сова» (Jacques Viot). Актер Жан Габен выиграл «Кубок Вольпи» в номинации за лучшую мужскую роль на Венецианском кинофестивале в 1954 году за игру в фильмах «Воздух Парижа» и «Не тронь добычу».

После выхода фильма в мировой прокат его название стало устойчивым выражением во многих языках, включая русский, и означает особую, непередаваемую во всей полноте эмоциональную, этическую и эстетическую «атмосферу» Парижа для всех, кого очаровала столица Франции.

Сюжет

Простой симпатичный парень-сирота Андре Менар, мечтающий вырваться из нищеты, находит частичку от браслета, что случайно оторвался и упал с руки прекрасной незнакомки, что проезжала в поезде мимо него. Эта мимолетная встреча перевернула его жизнь. На похоронах товарища-боксера он знакомится с тренером Виктором ле Гарре, фанатиком своего дела. Бывший боксер Виктор работает в тренажерном зале и мечтает найти талантливого юношу, который станет чемпионом и реализует его амбиции, которые он сам не смог осуществить. Его жена Бланш помогает и ведет бухгалтерский учет. Увидев Андрэ, Виктор понимает, что это «драгоценный камень», который он всю жизнь надеялся найти и потому уговаривает его профессионально заняться боксом под своим началом. Андре согласен на все ради славы и денег, хоть спортивная дисциплина требует избавиться от даже самых простых радостей жизни. И награда приходит. Виктор находит для Андре работу грузчика в магазине, его «акции», как боксера, растут. И снова случайно он встречает в кафе незнакомку из поезда — Корин, которая оказалась парижской манекенщицей, и знакомится с ней. Однако их кратковременное любовь не имеет перспективы, они находятся на очень разных ступенях социальной лестницы. Любовь выбивает Андре из колеи, однако Виктор не оставляет его одиноким, когда тот чувствует себя подавленным после короткого злополучного романа с парижской красавицей — Корин.
