  • Владимир Мономах усмирил переяславских торков, расселённых великим князем в Переяславской земле[2][3].
  • Вероятно в этом году — на основании сведений содержащихся в "Поучении" Владимира Мономаха, князь наносит половцам на Десне и за Новгород-Северским[3].
  • 1080—1081 — в "Поучении" также отражено, что Мономах в течение двух зим ходит: "в Вятичи.... на Ходоту (князь вятичей) и на сына его"[3].
