Леон (Леон Исаакович) Шварцман (пол. Leon Szwarcman, фр. Leon Schwartzmann, 27 февраля 1887, Варшава — 3 сентября 1942, Освенцим) — польский и французский шахматист еврейского происхождения, мастер (в Российской империи имел I категорию).

Биография

Родился в Варшаве, в семье Исаака Маера Шварцмана и Иты Беренштайн[1]. Учился в Петербурге. Участвовал в соревнованиях петербургских шахматистов. После окончания Первой Мировой войны вернулся в Польшу. С середины 1920-х гг. жил во Франции. В 1926 г. стал чемпионом Парижа[2]. Участвовал в ряде международных соревнований.

После оккупации Франции войсками фашистской Германии был арестован и погиб в концентрационном лагере.
