Чемпионат мира по международным шашкам среди женщин 1983

Чемпионат мира по международным шашкам среди женщин 1983 года прошёл в августе в Сандомире (Польша) по круговой системе. В нём приняли участие 12 спортсменок из 4-х стран. Весь пьедестал заняли советские спортсменки — чемпионкой мира стала СССР Елена Альтшуль. Второе место заняла Ольга Левина, третье место у Живиле Сакалаускайте.
