Васи́лий Ива́нович Соловьёв (13 января 1925, село Каменское, Московская область — 1 марта 2012, Москва) — советский и российский сценарист. Заслуженный деятель искусств РСФСР (1976)

Биография

Василий Соловьёв окончил сценарный факультет ВГИКа в 1951 году. Работал редактором киностудии «Мосфильм».

С 1960 г. член Художественного Совета, преподаватель Высших курсов сценаристов и режиссёров. В.И.Соловьёв на протяжении 25 лет бессменно руководил сценарными мастерскими ВКСР[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]. C 1968 года руководил сценарной мастерской ВГИКа.

В 1973 — 1980 годах являлся директором и главным редактором Центральной сценарной студии Госкино СССР.

Участник Великой Отечественной войны, прошёл всю войну, получил контузию, в результате на всю оставшуюся жизнь стал инвалидом, ходил с костылём.

Член КПСС с 1969 года[11].

Урна с прахом захоронена в колумбарии Ваганьковского кладбища.
