Скоптофобия

"Скоптофобия" (от др.-греч. σκώπτω «высмеивать, вышучивать, дразнить») — это страх показаться нелепым и смешным в глазах окружающих, в связи со своими мнимыми недостатками[1]. Особенно такие люди очень боятся чьих-то насмешек в свой адрес, в результате которых образуется комплекс неполноценности, и они начинают верить, что действительно хуже других.

После этого, когда люди всего лишь смотрят на них, им уже кажется что их осуждают. Они начинают с паникой соображать из-за чего на них так смотрят, и поэтому стремятся быстрее уйти от их взглядов.

Причины скоптофобии обычно берут свое начало из детства. Если ребёнок в детстве подвергался нападкам и не мог дать отпор, то у него со временем может развиться комплекс неполноценности, а позднее и скоптофобия.
