В парламент прошли 9 списков: Демократическая партия «Саймниекс», Народное движение «Латвияй», Латвийский путь, Объединение "Отечеству и свободе", Партия единства Латвии, КСЛ — ХДС — ЛДП, ДННЛ — ЛЗП, Партия народного согласия, Социалистическая партия Латвии.

Выборы в Шестой Сейм Латвии состоялись 30 сентября и 1 октября 1995 года.[1] Демократическая партия «Саймниекс» стала крупнейшей партией в Сейме, получив 18 из 100 мест.

У граждан Латвии, проживающих в Витебской и Могилёвской областях Белоруссии, была возможность проголосовать в Латвийском консульстве в Витебске[2].
