Дэрон Ошей «Муки» Блэйлок (англ. Daron Oshay "Mookie" Blaylock, род. 20 марта 1967 года) — американский профессиональный баскетболист, который 13 лет выступал за клубы Национальной баскетбольной ассоциации. Дважды был лидером НБА по перехватам (1997 и 1998), входит в топ-15 в истории НБА по количеству перехватов за карьеру.

В 2013 году был осуждён на 15 лет после того, как был признан виновным в ДТП, в котором погибла женщина. Блэйлок признал себя виновным и в итоге был осуждён на 3 года тюрьмы, 4 года условно и 8 лет испытательного срока[1].

Карьера в НБА

Блэйлок был выбран на драфте НБА 1989 года командой «Нью-Джерси Нетс» под 12 общим номером. Однако уже перед сезоном 1992/93 он был обменян в «Атланту Хокс». В 1999 году он был обменян в «Голден Стэйт Уорриорз» на 10 номер драфта — Джейсона Терри[2]. Блэйлок закончил карьеру в «Уорриорз» в основном выходя на замены.

В культуре

Музыканты группы Pearl Jam первоначально назвали свой коллектив в честь тогда ещё выступавшего Муки Блэйлока, однако вскоре были вынуждены поменять название. В честь баскетболиста музыканты назвали свой дебютный альбом Ten, поместив на обложку номер, под которым выступал Блэйлок[3][4][5].

В романе Тома Роббинса Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas персонаж Ларри Даймонд использует имя «Муки Блэйлок» в качестве псевдонима при поселении в отелях[6].
