Surianaceae é uma família de plantas com flor pertencente à ordem Fabales que agrupa 8 espécies validamente descritas repartidas por 5 géneros.[1]

Descrição

As Surianaceae são plantas lenhosas que variam em tamanho de pequenos arbustos a grandes árvores. A família tem uma distribuição natural pouco comum: o género Recchia é nativo do México; a única espécie que integra o género Suriana, S. maritima, é uma planta costeira com distribuição pantropical; e os restantes três géneros são endémicos da Austrália.

Sistemática
