Emilia Sawicka (ur. 4 października 1905, zm. w październiku 1944 w Korolówce) – polska Sprawiedliwa wśród Narodów Świata, ofiara zbrodni ukraińskich nacjonalistów.

Życiorys

W czasie II wojny światowej mieszkała wraz z synami Janem (ur. 1923), Kazimierzem (ur. 1925) i Nikodemem (ur. 1927) w Korolówce w powiecie borszczowskim województwa tarnopolskiego[1].

Podczas okupacji niemieckiej wraz z synami ukrywała w swoim gospodarstwie troje Żydów z Czortkowa - Renę Hausner oraz Polę i Leona Henenfeldów. Żydzi przebywali u Sawickich od wiosny 1943 do nadejścia Armii Czerwonej w czerwcu 1944 roku. Później mieszkała jedynie z synem Nikodemem, ponieważ pozostali synowie zostali powołani do Wojska Polskiego[1].

Została zamordowana w Korolówce przez nacjonalistów ukraińskich[1] w październiku 1944 roku[2]. Według Instytutu Jad Waszem została spalona żywcem[1]; według Komańskiego i Siekierki udusiła się czadem w schronie po tym, jak grupa Ukraińców podpaliła jej dom[2]. Wraz z nią zginął Nikodem Sawicki[1][2].

Upamiętnienie

W 1985 roku Jad Waszem pośmiertnie uhonorował Emilię Sawicką, a także jej trzech synów, tytułami Sprawiedliwych wśród Narodów Świata[1].
