Ecce Homo – wyścig górski rozgrywany w czeskim Šternberku, organizowany przez AMK Ecce Homo Šternberk. Jego historia sięga 1905 roku. Od 1981 roku jest eliminacją mistrzostw Europy.

Historia

Pierwszym wyścigiem o nazwie Ecce Homo był organizowany przez ÖAC długodystansowy wyścig Wiedeń-Wrocław-Wiedeń w 1905 roku. Te zawody wygrał Arnold Hildesheimer w Mercedesie. W latach 1907–1908 zorganizowano z kolei jazdy pokazowe. Pierwszy wyścig Ecce Homo o charakterze górskim w czeskim Šternberku zorganizowano w 1921 roku, a jego zwycięzcą został František Chlad na motocyklu Harley-Davidson. Po II wojnie światowej wznowiono wyścig w 1950 roku, Do 1958 roku rywalizowano na zamkniętym torze, powstałym poprzez skonstruowanie połączenia między Šternberkiem a Domašovem u Šternberka. Wyścig reaktywowano w 1971 roku, włączając do go mistrzostw Czechosłowacji. W 1981 roku Ecce Homo został eliminacją mistrzostw Europy[1][2].
