Sogn Sparebank (OSE: SOGN) er en norsk sparebank som ble til 1. april 2019 som et resultat av fusjonen mellom Vik Sparebank (stiftet 1846), Aurland Sparebank (stiftet 1883) og Indre Sogn Sparebank (stiftet 1971).[4] Banken er en del av Eika Gruppen og har hovedkontor i Årdalstangen, samt avdelingskontorer i Aurland, Bergen, Lærdal, Sogndal, Vik og Øvre Årdal.

Sparebanken er morselskap til Sogn Sparebank Eigedomsmekling og ISSB Eigedom, med Sogn Forsikring som tilknyttet selskap. Forvaltningskapitalen pr. 1. april 2019 er MNOK 7 800 og konsernet har 52 ansatte.[5]

Historie

Aurland Sparebank

Aurland Sparebank ble først stiftet i 1847, men avsluttet driften i 1867. Banken ble stiftet på nytt 18. mai 1883 og det første kontorlokalet var i det gamle kommunehuset i Aurland. Dette var banken sitt ekspedisjonskontor i 75 år, før banken i 1958 flyttet til det nye kommunehuset.[4]

Fra 1. januar 1965 åpnet banken filial i Flåm, hvor banken leide kontorlokaler i samfunnshuset. 20. april 1970 ble det vedtatt å bygge et eget bankbygg og det ble åpnet 27. januar 1972.[4]

Før fusjonen var 58,6 prosent av bankens utlån til kunder utenfor Aurland kommune.[4]

Indre Sogn Sparebank

Indre Sogn Sparebank var en børsnotert sparebank etablert 29. november 1971, som et resultat av fusjonen mellom Lærdal Sparebank (stiftet 1860), Årdal Sparebank (stiftet 1906) og Borgund Sparebank (stiftet 1915).[6]

Banken hadde før fusjonen hovedkontor på Årdalstangen og avdelingskontor i Bergen, Lærdal, Sogndal og Øvre Årdal, samt en filial i Borgund som ble lagt ned i 2012.

20. januar 1997 ble banken børsnotert på Oslo Børs som en av de første egenkapitalbevisbankene i Norge, og var samme år med på å starte Eika Gruppen som én av de største aksjonærene i gruppen.

Indre Sogn Sparebank Eigedomsmekling ble startet av banken i 2013 og etablerte Aktiv Eiendomsmegling ved avdelingene i Sogndal og Øvre Årdal.

I 2016 etablerte banken Indre Sogn Sparebank Forsikring, sammen med de ansatte, og solgte forsikring fra Eika Forsikring.

Vik Sparebank

Vik Sparebank ble stiftet i 6. juni 1846 og var før fusjonen den eldste sparebanken i Sogn og Fjordane som hadde overlevd som frittlevende sparebank uten å ha blitt fusjonert med andre sparebanker.[7]
