Parathalassius er en slekt av styltefluer (Dolichopodidae).
Utseende
Små, tettbygde styltefluer, kroppen gjerne kledt med sølvgrå bestøvning. Vingene er glassklare med mørke årer.
Levevis
Disse artene lever på sandete havstrender.
Utbredelse
Slekten har en holarktisk utbredelse.
Systematisk inndeling
Styltefluer tilhører overfamilien Empidoidea. De andre familiene i denne gruppen er Dansefluer (Empididae), dvergdansefluer Atelestidae , Microphoridae og buskdansefluer Hybotidae.
