Parasyntormon er en slekt av styltefluer (Dolichopodidae).
Utseende
Middelsstore, skinnende grønnlig metalliske styltefluer. Det retdje antenneleddet er gjern forlenget slik at antennen er betydelig lengre enn hodet.
Levevis
Utbredelse
Slekten er utbredt i Nord- og Mellom-Amerika.
Systematisk inndeling
Styltefluer tilhører overfamilien Empidoidea. De andre familiene i denne gruppen er Dansefluer (Empididae), dvergdansefluer Atelestidae , Microphoridae og buskdansefluer Hybotidae.
