Odd Mathis Hætta (født 22. mars 1940 i Kautokeino) er en norsk, samisk forfatter. Han har gitt ut en rekke bøker om samisk historie og kultur, om samiske medier og utdanningsspørsmål.

Hætta har vært tilknyttet Alta lærerhøgskole, der han har arbeidet som førsteamanuensis. Han har også vært redaktør av den samiske avisa Ságat og sjef for NRK-Samiradio.[2] I årene 1974 til 1976 var han leder i Norske Samers Riksforbund. Han står også bak Sametingets egenpresentasjon, bokserien Sametinget i navn og tall som har kommet siden tinget ble etablert i 1989.

Hætta ble i 2021 utnevnt til ridder av 1. klasse av St. Olavs Orden «for sin innsats for samisk samfunnsutvikling.»[3]
