Yasiin Bey[8] (født Dante Terrell Smith 11. desember 1973 i New York i USA), tidligere kjent som Mos Def, er en amerikansk rapper og skuespiller. Han begynte sin karriere som medlem av rap-kollektivet The Native Tongues.[9] Han gjorde også gjesteopptredender på albumene til Da Bush Babees og De La Soul.
Sammen med Talib Kweli dannet han duoen Black Star i 1998. De gav ut ett album.[9] Siden det har han også gitt ut seks soloalbum. The Ecstatic ble utgitt i 2009.
Samtidig som han er artist og skuespiller, er han også kjent for å være politisk engasjert.[10]
