Marcus Haus (født 1995 i Eid) er en norsk svømmer, som er psykisk utviklingshemmet og konkurrerer i klassen S14. Han har flere gull fra Special Olympics. Han representerer Eid symjeklubb.

Idrettskarriere

Etter å ha drevet med svømming i nesten ni år kom han i kontakt med Norges svømmeforbund høsten 2010, og i 2011 deltok han i sitt første Special Olympics, i Athen i Hellas. Der fikk han bronse på 100 meter rygg og 100 meter fri, og han vant 200 meter bryst.[1][2] I november ble han tildelt Ungdommens kulturpris for Eid kommune for sine resultater i Special Olympics.[3]

Ved Landsstevnet 2012 fikk han fire sølvmedaljer, bak Adam Ismael Wenham på alle distansene.[4] Ved NM i svømming 2012 fikk han 5 gull og 4 sølv.[5] Året etter, ved NM kortbane 2013 fikk han syv medaljer, hvorav gull på 100 meter rygg

Han deltok ved Special Olympics Europeiske Sommerleker i Antwerpen i september 2014. Der vant han 50 meter fri og kom på 2.-plass på 50 meter butterfly.[6][7] I tillegg deltok han på Norges lag som vant 4x50 meter fri, sammen med Arja Johansen, Ronja Hjelmstad og Adam Ismael Wenham.[8] Haus vant ingen gullmedaljer ved NM i svømming 2014, men endte opp med tre sølv- og fire bronsemedaljer.[9]

Ved Special Olympics 2015 i Los Angeles fikk han to medaljer og en femteplass. Han vant 100 meter fri og kom på 2.-plass på 200 meter fri, og kom på femteplass på 100 meter medley.[10]
