Malham på Commons

Malham er en landsby og verdslig sogn i det administrativt distriktet Craven i North Yorkshire i England. Den ligger i nasjonalparken Yorkshire Dales. I henhold til folketellingen i 2011 har landsbyen og sognet 238 innbyggere.[1]

Det ligger et informasjonssenter for nasjonalparken i landsbyen, og det er en stor parkeringsplass der for de mange fotturistene som bruker den som utgangspunkt. Den lengste turstien til Pennine Way går gjennom Malham, som ligger nær severdighetene Malham Cove, Malham Tarn, Gordale Scar og Janet's Foss.

I Domesday Book for 1086 er stedsnavnet oppgitt som Malgun, antagelig i betydningen «bosetning ved grusholdig sted».[2]
