Lahemaa nasjonalpark

Lahemaa er en nasjonalpark i det nordlige Estland, ca. 40 km øst for hovedstaden Tallinn.

Parken ble opprettet i 1971, som den første i både Estland og det tidligere Sovjetunionen.[1] Arealet er senere blitt utvidet sydover således at det i dag dekker over 725 km² hvorav 474 km² er land og 251 km² vann.

Parken inneholder uberørt skog, bekker og vann, fiskerlandsbyer samt historiske gods og herregårder som Palmse, Sagadi, Vihula og Kolk. Av fugler ses blant annet svartstork og traner, mens pattedyrene er representert med både bjørn, ulv og gaupe. Laks og ørret gyter i elvene. Bærplukking og soppsanking er tillatt.[2]
