Göteborgs-Posten (kjent som GP) er en svensk uavhengig liberal dagsavis som utgis i Göteborg. Avisens viktigste dekningsområde er Vest-Sverige. Avisen er den nest største morgenavisen i Sverige etter Dagens Nyheter og foran Svenska Dagbladet.

Historie

Før dagens GP fantes "Götheborgs-Posten" som ble utgitt med to nummer i uken, fra 23. mars 1813 og frem til 1832, av boktrykkeren og redaktøren Geo Löwegren.

Avisen gjenoppsto den 3. desember 1859. Bokhandleren David Felix Bonnier (1822–1881) sto bak utivelsen av avisens to nummer i uken, onsdag og lørdag. Avisens første redaksjonslokale lå på Smedjegatan. Deretter ble GP utgitt regelmessig. Først i 1939 begynte avisen å bli gitt ut syv dager i uken. I 1995 ble GP på internett lansert, og 5. oktober 2004 gikk avisen i sin helhet over til tabloidformatet.
