Bøylehest

Bøylehest er et apparat og en øvelse i grenen Turn menn.

Bøylehesten er 115 centimeter høy, 160 cm lang og har en bredde på 35 centimeter, hesten er utstyrt med to bøyler som er 12 centimeter høye. Gymnasten skal utføre en rekke forskjellige sirkler, sving- og sakseelementer over bøylehesten med enten samlede eller spredte ben. Gymnasten skal gjennom hele øvelsen ha strake ben og kroppen skal være utstrakt med hoftene løftet så høyt over bøylehesten som mulig. Det er kun hendene som har lov til å berøre apparatet mens kroppen hele tiden er i bevegelse over og rundt hesten, dette krever mye styrke.[1][2]

Bøylehest er med som olympisk øvelse i Turn menn.[1]
