Buby

Buby wasn een Argentijnse fabrikant van modelauto's.

Opgericht door Haroldo Buby Malher, maakte deze firma modelauto's in de schalen 1:43, 1:50 en 1:64. Kenmerkend voor Buby's is de keuze voor lokale auto's, zoals auto's van IKA (later overgenomen door Renault) en Renault.

Buby introduceerde vering in 1:43 modellen in de jaren 60. Daarnaast hadden de modellen deuren en kleppen die open kunnen. Ondanks financiële problemen wist het merk het tot 1992 vol te houden. De oprichter heeft plannen om de productie weer op te starten[1].
