Afroinsectiphilia is een clade van placentadieren binnen de Afrotheria die de goudmollen en tenrekachtigen (Afrosoricida), springspitsmuizen (Macroscelidea) en aardvarkens (Tubulidentata) omvat. De verwantschap tussen deze drie ordes van Afrikaanse insectivoren werd eind jaren negentig van de twintigste eeuw vastgesteld met DNA-analyses. Mogelijk behoren ook de uitgestorven Ptolemaiida tot de groep.[1] Het is een zustergroep van de Paenungulata, dat onder anderen de olifanten en klipdassen omvat.
