Tentera Udara Emiriah Qatar adalah cabang udara bagi angkatan tentera bagi Qatar.

Sejarah

Pada Mac 1968, dalamtindak balas terhadap pengumuman yang dilakukan oleh Britain berkenaan pengunduran angkatan tentera mereka daripada Teluk Parsi, Qatar menubuhkan angkatan tentera mereka yang dikenali sebagai Sayap Udara Pasukan Keselamatan Awam Qatar, dengan dilengkapi oleh dua buah helikopter Westland Whirlwind. Pada tahun 1971, ia mendapat keupayaan tempur apabila membeli tiga buah pesawat pejuang Hawker Hunter terpakai milik Tentera Udara Diraja, yang mana digunakan sehingga tahun 1981. Pasukan ini kemudian dinamakan semula sebagai Tentera Udara Emiriah Qatar pada tahun 1974.[1]
