Perpustakaan Negara Algeria (Bahasa Arab: المكتبة الوطنيّة الجزائريّة) telah wujud sejak kemerdekaan pada tahun 1960-an dan telah dimodenkan selepas pada tahun 1835 sebuah perpustakaan pentadbiran yang besar telah dibangunkan oleh Perancis yang menjajah Algeria ketika itu. Bangunan baru telah dibina pada tahun 1990-an untuk menempatkan berjuta koleksi Perpustakaan dan juga untuk mengembangkan perkhidmatan Perpustakaan. Keperlukan maklumat saintifik dan teknikal ditentukan oleh dua organisasi iaitu Pusat Maklumat Teknikal dan Sains dan Pemindahan Teknologi; serta Pusat Pendokumentasian Sosial dan Ekonimi Kebangsaan, yang dibina pada tahun 1971 untuk memastikan pemilihan dan pengindeksan dokumen automatik mengenai pembangunan sosial dan ekonomi negara dan pengumpulan statistik.[2]

Ia mempunyai luas permukaan 67000m² dan direka untuk menempatkan lebih daripada 10 juta buku. Ia boleh menampung lebih daripada 2500 pembaca pada satu masa. Ia adalah pusat penyerahan terbitan dan hak cipta untuk Algeria.
