4 deaths – A large tornado touched down in Walthall County and quickly intensified. Northwest of Darbun, two frame homes were completely leveled, one of which was removed off its foundation. A large hardwood tree was uprooted and lofted several feet in this area. One home was properly constructed while the other lacked proper anchor bolts. Based on this, engineers and forensic surveyors concluded the damage was of EF4 intensity. Continuing northeast, the tornado rolled a mobile home and tore the roof off a brick home. Two fatalities occurred in the county. Crossing into Lawrence County, it caused extensive tree damage with numerous hardwood and softwood trees snapped or uprooted. Near Tynes Ainsworth Road, a mobile home was completely destroyed; both occupants died. Extensive damage to trees continued across Marion and Jefferson Davis Counties and the tornado ultimately dissipated to the southwest of Bassfield.
8 deaths – Large violent tornado, reaching a maximum width of at least 2.25 batu (3.62 km), caused major damage. It was the widest tornado on record in Mississippi and the 3rd widest tornado on record in the United States. Injuries were reported. Three of the deaths occurred east of Bassfield and another occurred near Soso. Preliminary survey with winds of 190mph.
A strong tornado destroyed a metal building, ripped a large section of the roof off a home, and inflicted varying damage to several other homes. Trees were snapped or uprooted.
This tornado occurred simultaneously with the Bassfield–Pachuta EF4, causing minor damage to several homes and either snapping or uprooting numerous trees.
A tornado touched down near a farm and destroyed one shed. Tracking northeast, it caused extensive tree damage and struck two homes near Highway 33. One suffered moderate roof damage and the other was swept off its foundation and blown 60 ka (18 m) away. Damage elsewhere along the path largely consisted of snapped or uprooted trees; however, one mobile home was rolled off its foundation near County Road 1.
A tornado touched down just inside Blount County and moved toward Boaz, quickly intensifying as it struck a neighborhood near Highway 431. Dozens of structures were damaged, several severely. One home was blown off its foundation and only interior rooms remained standing; however, the building lacked anchor bolts and the damage rating was held down to EF2. Another home had exterior walls collapse after losing its roof. Continuing east-northeast the tornado primarily impacted forested areas, snapping or uprooting trees. Several more homes sustained minor roof damage. Three people were injured.
A tornado touched down on the north side of Attalla and caused extensive tree damage as it moved northeast along Highway 11. Many homes suffered damage from fallen trees. The tornado intensified and widened as it moved into Reece City. Numerous power poles were snapped and a wide swath of snapped or uprooted hardwood trees was observed. It reached its maximum width as it crossed Highway 211 with damage extending to Interstate 59. One barn was significantly damaged in this area. Tree damage continued as the tornado moved northeast and ultimately dissipated northeast of Keener.
A 10,000 lb (4,500 kg) camper was overturned. Shingles and siding were pulled off homes. A trailer was destroyed, a corner of a barn's exterior wall was heavily damaged, and numerous large trees were snapped or uprooted. Toward the end of the tornado's path, it ripped the roof and entire second story off a house, causing severe damage to its exterior walls. A jeep was tossed more than 150 yd (140 m). Another nearby home had its garage collapsed and a large portion of its roof removed.
A site-built home had sections of its roofing ripped off, and various residential and professional buildings in Carbon Hill suffered damage. At least five manufactured homes and outbuildings were either rolled or demolished, shifted off their block piers, or sustained significant loss of roof and walls. Dozens of trees were snapped or uprooted. Three people were injured.
A tornado touched down near the Northriver Yacht Club community, causing extensive tree damage and minor roof damage to homes from fallen trees. It then crossed the Black Warrior River, snapping or uprooting hundreds of trees in the area before dissipating just west of the Jefferson County border.
7 deaths – A large, strong tornado snapped or uprooted numerous trees and inflicted roof or siding damage to many homes. Over eight double-wide manufactured homes were demolished. At its strongest, the tornado crumpled a recently built cell tower and demolished a small single-family home save for a few interior walls. Four large chicken houses were impacted, of which one was destroyed and two more suffered severe damage. Debris was tossed several hundred yards away.
A tornado damaged large sections of the Shiloh Community Church and damaged a barn. Minor structural damage occurred on mobile homes and trees were snapped. The tornado continued into Georgia where it damaged nearly 100 homes in and around the city of Trenton.
3 deaths – A tornado touched down near the Georgia/Tennessee state border to the southeast of Chattanooga and traveled northeast. Extensive damaged occurred in the Harris Hills neighborhood where and auto parts store was leveled and several structures had severe roof damage. Widespread damage continued into the Drake Forest neighborhood, Ooltewah, and the Integra Hills Preserve Apartments where many homes sustained roof damage. The tornado ultimately dissipated in southwestern Bradley County. At least 150 structures were damaged or destroyed, 3 people were killed, and 19 people were injured.
A tornado touched down just outside downtown Cleveland and soon impacted a residential area where it injured six people; 26 homes were destroyed, 23 suffered major damage, and 62 had minor damage. A church also sustained heavy damage.
1 death – A tornado touched down west-southwest of Cartersville and caused minor damage to a small business and downed fences. In southwestern Cartersville, a large oak tree was fell and crashed into a home, killing the sleeping occupant. Sporadic tree damage continued thereafter until it reached Bells Ferry Road where numerous trees were snapped or uprooted and one home was damaged. The tornado continued into the Pine Log Wildlife Management Area where 60–70 trees were downed before it dissipated. Two people were injured along its path.
A tornado touched down just south of Thomaston and traveled northeast. It steadily intensified and grew in diameter as it approached Trice Cemetery Road. There, a mobile home was rolled and rotated 90°. Farther northeast, one home had the majority of its roof torn off and nearly all trees within 220 yd (200 m) of it were snapped. The National Weather Service's WSR-88D radar detected debris lofted up to 25,000 ka (7,600 m) at this time. Thereafter, the tornado weakened and ultimately dissipated shortly after crossing into Lamar County. A total of 159 structures were affected by the tornado; 7 were destroyed, 20 had major damage, and 38 had minor damage.
This tornado regenerated from the 06:19 UTC Upson/Lamar County tornado. The tornado initially touched down southwest of Collier and quickly intensified as it approached Highway 41. There, a large metal building and small home were completely destroyed. The metal frame and concrete footers of the former structure were ripped from the ground, leaving behind a concrete slab. The occupant of the small home was injured. Several vehicles, a small plane, a tractor, and a boat were flipped near the structures. NWS radar detected debris up to 19,000 ka (5,800 m). Continuing northeast, the tornado caused extensive tree damage as it gradually weakened, ultimately dissipating near Highway 42.
A short-lived tornado touched down near Interstate 475, causing minor roof damage to two hotels and a Walmart. A nearby Walgreens had all of its windows blown out and a hole punctured into its roof. A gas station canopy had metal sheeting torn off. Extensive tree damage occurred farther along the path, with several falling on homes.
A tornado touched down in the Chattahoochee–Oconee National Forest, snapping or uprooting hundreds of trees across the park. Traveling northeast, the tornado crossed Highway 129 and caused minor roof damage to three homes. Elsewhere, a silo and nearby barn sustained damage. One person was injured.
1 death – High-end EF3 tornado severely damaged multiple structures. The tornado passed through the southern part of Seneca, severely damaging a BorgWarner manufacturing plant and leveling multiple homes. Extensive tree damage along the path resulted in widespread power outages and limited travel. The City of Seneca declared a curfew in the wake of the storm. Clemson University suspended online classes to accommodate local recovery efforts. One person was killed and two others remain missing.
This tornado regenerated from the 07:18 UTC Putnam County tornado. A tornado impacted the Creek Club Reynolds Plantation subdivision, snapping or uprooting numerous trees. Several well-built homes sustained direct damage or impacts from airborne debris. At Lake Oconee, numerous boathouses sustained major damage and a dock was lofted onshore. After crossing the lake the tornado felled many more trees, several of which fell on homes. It later dissipated as it moved into Veaszy. A total of 35–40 homes were damaged by the tornado.
Damage occurred almost exclusively in Washington County before briefly entering Jefferson County. Hundreds of softwood-type trees were snapped, dozens of homes were damaged, and two vehicles were thrown 100 yards.
Extensive tree damage occurred along this tornado's path, with hundreds hardwood and softwood trees snapped or uprooted. Many homes and vehicles were damaged by fallen trees. A cinderblock auto parts store along Highway 80 had its roof lifted results in partial collapse of its walls. A dairy farm suffered extensive damage near Highway 25, with most structures losing their roof.
An intense, long-tracked tornado began in the Savannah River Site. After moving out of the area, it caused significant roof damage and partial wall collapse to a brick house. An accompanying small cinder block workshop was destroyed. Further along the path, it destroyed a vacant store building, removed the roof and some walls to a metal auto shop building, and destroyed a brick shed. Most of the roof was ripped off a house, a mobile home was shifted 6–10 ka (1.8–3.0 m) off its foundation, and another manufactured home was demolished. A large portion of the roof was torn from a business that also had its exterior wall collapsed. Numerous trees were snapped or uprooted, some of which fell on homes and one of which landed on a church.
A tornado caused extensive tree damage in the Crackerneck Wildlife Management Area and Ecological Reserve. The path was identified through satellite imagery; survey details pending.
2 deaths – A wood-framed home torn from its ground anchorage and destroyed. Three manufactured homes were destroyed; one of these was a double-wide home where two people were killed. Much of the roof of a brick home was removed. Several other homes were damaged or destroyed north of Livingston. Multiple power poles were snapped. Widespread tree damage occurred throughout the tornado's path. At least seven people were injured.
A cinder block garage had its metal roof peeled off and cinder blocks shifted about halfway up its wall. A well-built bolted down metal building structure and a tin tractor shed were completely demolished. A home saw its roof lifted off, and a two-story wood frame building behind it was shifted off its foundation and destroyed. A nearby un-anchored log cabin was destroyed as well. Numerous trees were snapped or uprooted.
Many trees were snapped or uprooted, some of which landed on structures. A mobile home had its roof ripped off a while a small cabin had a portion of its roof ripped off.
5 deaths – A multi-vortex tornado damaged or destroyed many residences. In the hardest hit areas, six homes were destroyed, resulting in five fatalities. Sixty people were injured.
A tractor dealership had its front windows blown out and the overhead doors blown in. Numerous trees were snapped or uprooted, several of which caused roof damage to buildings. Multiple pivot irrigation systems were overturned, and grain silos and outbuildings were damaged.
Multiple homes and outbuildings sustained extensive roof damage, with one losing it entirely. Widespread tree damage occurred along the tornado's path.
A tornado tracked through predominantly wooded areas west and north of Morven, causing widespread tree damage. Many homes were damaged by the fallen trees, 6 or 7 of which were destroyed. Outbuildings and vehicles were also damaged or destroyed.
1 death – Many hundreds of trees were snapped or uprooted. Hundreds of residences and some businesses were damaged by tornadic winds or fallen trees. Inflow winds into the tornado felled a large tree onto a home, killing an occupant. At the Low Country Regional Airport, most hangers were destroyed and nearly two dozen aircraft were damaged or destroyed. One person was injured.
A waterspout moved onshore Edisto Island and caused extensive roof damage to six homes in Edisto Beach. One home had most of its roof removed and an outer wall collapsed. Numerous trees were snapped or uprooted along the tornadoes path.
A tornado caused extensive damage to trees along its path. At Huntington State Park, one building suffered minor roof damage. As it moved offshore over the Atlantic Ocean near Murrells Inlet, a Weather station observed winds of 114 mph (183 km/j).
An EF1 tornado along an intermittent path snapped, uprooted, and twisted numerous mature trees. Hog houses were completely destroyed, with many sections of the metal roof and insulation thrown several miles away from the farm.
A brief tornado snapped 10–15 trees. This tornado was likely a continuation of the 14:01 UTC Maysville event; however, a continuous path through heavily wooded areas was not found.
A waterspout moved onshore from the Pamlico River into Bayview, damaging a pier in the process. Several trees were snapped or uprooted, with one home suffering damage from debris.

Puting beliung EF3 membunuh tiga orang,[54] termasuk seorang lelaki yang mati ketika pokok tumbang ke rumahnya; ramai yang cedera dirawat di hospital tempatan.[85] Angin tornado sebelum subuh di Kaunti Murray, Georgia mengorbankan tujuh orang dan mencederakan sekurang-kurangnya 23 yang lain ketika melanda sejumlah rumah bergerak.[50] Seorang lelaki di Cartersville, Georgia, juga terbunuh ketika sebatang pokok tumbang di rumahnya.[86] Banyak puting beliung maut yang dijumpai di Carolina Selatan, termasuk satu kematian yang dikaitkan dengan tornado EF3 di Seneca, satu kematian di Colleton County, lima kematian di Hampton County—tiga daripadanya berada di Nixville—dan dua kematian berkaitan dengan puting beliung EF3 di Livingston.
Kesan bukan puting beliung
Hujan lebat di seluruh timur Texas menyebabkan banjir kilat dan banyak penutupan jalan di kebanyakan komuniti. Pokok dan talian elektrik yang tumbang menyebabkan penutupan jalan tambahan.[87] Angin bertiup kencang di Kaunti Upshur, Texas membunuh seorang lelaki setelah sebatang pokok jatuh ke atasnya di jalan masuknya.[88] Ketika ribut melanda Arkansas, angin kencang yang meluas diperhatikan, menyebabkan runtuhnya bangunan lama dan Gereja Baptis Centennial yang bersejarah di pusat bandar Helena-Helena Barat.[89]Pengiriman 9-1-1 dan kecemasan terganggu di seluruh kota, dan serpihan yang tersebar menghalang ambulans untuk sampai ke hospital.[90] Angin kencang menumbangkan banyak pokok, talian elektrik, dan pagar di seluruh bahagian selatan negeri ini.[91] Kerosakan tambahan ditimbulkan pada struktur seperti rumah hijau, peternakan, bangsal, lumbung, dan dermaga. Pokok yang tumbang menyekat banyak lebuh raya.[92] Di White Hall, sebatang pokok tumbang jatuh ke rumah dan membunuh seorang penghuni. Lebih daripada 143,000 pelanggan dibiarkan tanpa kuasa di Arkansas setelah ribut.[93] Di Mississippi, hujan lebat meluas di Kaunti Panola, di mana Pegawai Pengurusan Kecemasan Mississippi menyumbangkan beg pasir untuk mengelakkan banjir.[94] Jumlah hujan meningkat pada 3–4 in (76–102 mm) kepada 6 in (150 mm), di seberang utara Alabama menyebabkan banjir yang besar di Kaunti DeKalb. Di sana, kira-kira 50 jalan raya ditutup buat sementara waktu. Air banjir membanjiri beberapa perniagaan di Collinsville . Berdekatan di Fort Payne, perairan membanjiri beberapa perniagaan, memaksa sekitar 35 orang dari kawasan banjir. Beberapa jalan dilaporkan musnah.[95] Banjir besar juga dilaporkan berlaku di kaunti Madison, Morgan, dan Jackson.[96]
Lebih jauh ke utara di Tennessee, seorang wanita berusia 33 tahun dibawa oleh angin dan lemas dalam air yang deras di sebuah jambatan di Kimball.[34] Empat jambatan secara keseluruhannya rosak akibat banjir, termasuk tiga di Pittsburg Selatan.[97]Nashville mencatat rekod hujan harian 2.23 in (57 mm).[98] Hujan lebat turun di seluruh Lembah Tennessee setelah tiga bulan pertama adalah paling lembab sepanjang tahun, menyebabkan Empangan Chickamauga dan Tasik Watts Bar naik sekitar 1.5 ka (0.46 m) atas paras kolam musim panas yang normal.[99] Banyak jalan disekat di daerah Rutherford, Williamson,[100] dan Washington.[101] Taman McFarland di Florence tenggelam ketika Sungai Tennessee melimpah ke tebingnya.[102] Di seberang Kaunti Unicoi, beberapa jalan telah musnah. Perairan yang meningkat mendorong perintah pindah bagi komuniti Temple Hill.[103] Perairan tinggi mengalir melalui kediaman di sekitar Hampton dan Valley Forge di Kaunti Carter.[104] Beaver Creek di Bristol melimpah tebingnya, membanjiri persimpangan.[105] Jabatan Bomba Kingsport menyelamatkan 21 orang kerana bandar itu terancam oleh perairan yang meningkat.[106] Sebanyak 27 jalan ditutup di seluruh Kaunti Sullivan.[107] Di Tennessee timur laut, banjir merosakkan dua jambatan di kawasan Johnson City. Sebilangan penduduk di Sinking Creek terputus kerana beberapa kawasan di tingkat rendah digenangi air. Di Kaunti Carter, Gap Creek melimpah ke tebing dan menutupi jalan raya.[108]
Angin merosakkan meluas melintasi Carolina Utara, meninggalkan kerosakan yang besar. Lebih kurang 200,000 orang kehilangan kuasa di seluruh negeri.[109] Seorang mati kerana pokok tumbang di Kaunti Davidson.[110]Mikroledakan berhampiran Wallace di Kaunti Marlboro, Carolina Selatan, menghasilkan angin 100–110 mph (160–180 km/j) di kawasan seluas 2–3 bt (3.2–4.8 km) lebar dan 4–5 bt (6.4–8.0 km) panjang. Beberapa kediaman runtuh dan bumbung rosak. Ratusan pokok kayu keras dan kayu lembut patah di seluruh kawasan. Di seluruh negeri, kira-kira 300,000 orang kehilangan kuasa.[111]
Di luar sektor yang hangat dari sistem yang luas, ribut salji dan angin ribut yang tidak bermusim mempengaruhi kawasan dari Dataran utara ke Amerika Syarikat Barat Laut. Sioux Falls, Dakota Selatan, mencatat 5.2 in (130 mm) pada April12, catatan harian dan Minggu Eater yang paling bersalji kedua dalam catatan.[112] Twin Cities mencatatkan 5.1 in (130 mm) salji, menetapkan catatan Minggu Easter baru sejak 1891.[113] Akumulasi berjumlah hampir satu kaki di bahagian selatan Minnesota menyebabkan banyak gelinciran dan kemalangan, terutamanya di sepanjang Interstate 35 di selatan Twin Cities, Interstate 90 antara Albert Lea dan Rochester, dan Lebuh raya AS 52 antara Rochester dan Twin Cities. Lebih daripada 1.3 juta pelanggan dari Texas ke Pennsylvania kehilangan kuasa pada waktu ribut.[83] Semasa serangan itu terjadi, upaya pemulihan terhambat oleh pandemik yang terus berlanjutan dan Palang Merah Amerika menggunakan ruang hotel, bukan tempat perlindungan besar-besaran bagi penduduk yang terjejas.[126]Keadaan darurat dinyatakan di Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama,[127] Georgia,[128] dan Carolina Selatan.[129]
Di Monroe yang dilanda teruk, Pengawal Negara dikerahkan untuk membantu pembersihan puing-puing.[130] Drax Biomass, yang beribu pejabat di bandar, menyumbangkan $10,000 untuk bantuan puting beliung.[131] Di tempat perlindungan kecemasan, topeng dan sarung tangan diberikan kepada penduduk. Bandar ini berusaha memperoleh 200 bilik hotel untuk menempatkan mangsa sebagai langkah menghalang perhimpunan besar-besaran.[132] Lokasi lain yang dipengaruhi oleh angin puting beliung EF3, Chattanooga, Tennessee, dilawati oleh gabenor negara itu, Bill Lee, pada April 14; ini menandakan kali kedua gabenor meninjau kerosakan angin puting beliung dalam waktu lebih kurang sebulan setelah serangan tornado yang teruk pada 2–3 Mac 2020.[133] Lebih daripada 500 responden kecemasan dikerahkan di seluruh bandar untuk mencari dan menyelamat. Enam puluh lima penduduk tempat tinggal Alzheimer dipindahkan ke hotel kerana kerosakan struktur. Sekurang-kurangnya 1,630 kediaman musnah di seluruh Chattanooga, di mana 344 musnah. Pegawai menganggarkan kerosakan pada $200-300 juta.[134] Setelah hari yang paling teruk untuk puting beliung di Carolina Selatan sejak wabak Mac 1984, Palang Merah melindungi 236 penduduk yang terlantar di hotel.[135] Kerosakan yang meluas di Seneca, menyebabkan perintah berkurung diseluruh kota.[136] Sebuah penjara keselamatan sederhana di Kaunti Hampton, Carolina Selatan, secara langsung terkena angin puting beliung EF3, dengan kerosakan yang teruk sehingga penghuni penjara dipindahkan ke Pennsylvania.
