Etika (Tulisan Jawi: ايتيكا; melalui Latin ethica daripada bahasa Greek kuno ἠθική [φιλοσοφία] "falsafah moral") merupakan salah satu cabang utama falsafah yang merangkumi kelakuan betul dan kehidupan baik. Liputan etika adalah lebih luas daripada manganalisis apa yang betul dan salah seperti yang sering dianggap. Antara aspek utama etika ialah "kehidupan baik", iaitu kehidupan yang bernilai atau memuaskan, yang dianggap lebih penting daripada tingkah laku moral oleh banyak ahli falsafah. Antara isu utama dalam etika ialah pencarian summum bonum, iaitu "kebaikan yang terbaik". Tindakan yang betul dikatakan mengakibatkan kebaikan terbaik, manakala tindakan tak bermoral dikatakan menghalangnya.[1]

Etika berkaitan dengan konsep-konsep moral seperti kebaikan, kejahatan, benar, salah, kewajipan, tanggungjawab, keadilan; iaitu analisis konsep-konsep seperti ini dan justifikasi pertimbangan (pernyataan, dakwaan) yang melibatkan konsep-konsep tersebut. Etika adalah teori tentang tingkah laku yang betul dalam kehidupan yang baik bukannya amalan. Etika mengkaji fakta, menganalisisnya dan merumuskan apakah tingkah laku yang sebetulnya [2] . Etika tidak berpegang pada apa yang dinamakan "tanzil Tuhan" atau "wahyu Tuhan" terhadap jawapan akhir atau menyelesaikan isu-isu moral tertentu. Etika berbeza dengan agama.
