NTSC

NTSC (National Television System Committee) ir analogās televīzijas standarts, kas pārsvarā tiek izmantots Japānā, Ziemeļamerikā un lielākajā daļā Dienvidamerikas. Signāla standarts izstrādāts 1941. gadā, ar modifikāciju krāsu pārraidīšanai 1953. gadā. 2009. gada 12. jūnijā ASV, 2011. gada 31.augustā Kanādā un 2021. gada 31 decembrī Meksikā tas tiek aizstāts ar jauno ATSC (digitālo) standartu. Signālam ir ~30 kadri sekundē. Katrs kadrs satur 525 (486 redzamās) horizontālās rindas. Puslauku secība: primārais (even) kam seko sekundārais (odd).

Variācijas

  • NTSC-M NTSC signāls, atšķirībā no PAL ir praktiski bez variācijām, M apzīmē tikai publiskās apraides sistēmu M.
  • NTSC-J Japānas NTSC variācija, kur atšķiras tikai melnā signāla līmenis, ko skatoties var vienkārši novērst — pagriežot nedaudz gaišāku televizora ekrānu.
