TCL – vienas iš didžiausių elektronikos gamintojų pasaulyje ir trečias pagal dydį televizorių gamintojas pasaulyje (2014).[3] Veiklą pradėjo 1981 kaip piratinių kasečių gamintojas. Pradžioje trumpinys TCL buvo aiškinamas kaip True China Lion, dabar – The Creative Life. Greta savo ženklu žymimų gaminių, „TCL“ taip pat gamina produktus su prekiniais ženklais „Alcatel“, „Blackberry“, „Pioneer“, „RCA“ bei „Thomson“.

  • Alcatel – 2005 m. gegužę „TCL“ nusipirko prancūzų mobiliųjų telefonų gamintoją „Alcatel“[4]. Kita kompanijos veikla (tokia kaip, pavyzdžiui, mobiliųjų tinklų gamyba), nebuvo nupirkta.
  • BlackBerry – 2016 m. gruodį „TCL“ nusipirko teisę gaminti telefonus su „BlackBerry“ prekiniu ženklu.[5]
  • Pioneer – „TCL“ licencijuoja prekinį ženklą „Pioneer“ savo televizorių gamybai[6]
  • RCA – 2003 m. „TCL“ nusipirko teisę gaminti produktus su „RCA“ prekiniu ženklu
  • Thomson – 2003 m. „TCL“ nusipirko teisę gaminti produktus su „Thomson“ prekiniu ženklu
