Pranas Gaidamavičius-Gaida (1914 m. sausio 26 d. Bajoruose, Želvos valsčius, Ukmergės apskritis – 2013 m. liepos 24 d. Aukštadvaryje, Trakų rajonas) – Lietuvos kunigas, žurnalistas, redaktorius, publicistas, teologijos daktaras.

Biografija

1924–1927 m. mokėsi Širvintų progimnazijoje, 1931 m. baigė Kėdainių gimnaziją. 1937 m. baigė Vytauto Didžiojo universiteto Teologijos-filosofijos fakultetą ir Kauno kunigų seminariją, įšventintas kunigu. 1938–1940 m. vikaravo Širvintose. 1940 m. pasitraukė į Vokietiją. Apsistojo Gleisgarbeno pabėgėlių stovykloje, vėliau persikėlė į Berlyną. 1940–1946 m. studijavo Miunsterio, Freiburgo (ten gavo teologijos daktaro laipsnį) ir Leveno universitetuose.[1] 1944–1946 m. Freiburgo lietuvių tremtinių kapelionas.

1950 m. išvyko į Kanadą. 1950–1952 m. dėstė filosofiją Mont-Laurier (Kvebekas) kunigų seminarijoje. 1954 m. persikėlė į Torontą. Nuo 1954 m. dirbo laikraščio „Tėviškės žiburiai“ redakcijoje, nuo 1961 m. vyr. redaktorius. Bendradarbiavo laikraščiuose „Darbininkas“, „Draugas“, „Rytas“, „XX amžius“, žurnaluose „Židinys“, „Naujoji Romuva“, „Aidai“.[2] 1987 m. pakeltas Popiežiaus garbės prelatu. 2010 m. grįžo į Lietuvą – Kaišiadorių vyskupiją, apsigyveno vyskupijos administruojamuose namuose Aukštadvaryje (Trakų rajonas).[3] Palaidotas Kaišiadorių katedros šventoriuje.[4]
