Honkongo kiniškasis universitetas (kin. 香港中文大學; sutrumpintai: CUHK) – antras pagal senumą universitetas Honkonge, įkurtas 1963 m., Šia Tino rajone. Tai vienas iš geriausiai vertinamų universitetų Azijoje,[3][4] turintis 8 fakultetus, kuriuose mokosi virš 14 000 studentų. CUHK garsėja tyrimais gamtos mokslų ir matematikos srityse, universitete dėsto keturi profesoriai, laimėję Nobelio premijas.[5]

Istorija

Universitetas buvo įsteigtas 1963 m. spalio 17 d., sujungus Naująjį Azijos, Čungči ir Jungtinį koledžus (vėliau prie jų prisijungė Šo, Morningsaido, S. H. Ho, Ly Vū Sing, Vu Ie Sun, C. W. Ču koledžai). Po trejų metų pradėtos magistrantūros, o 1980 m. ir doktorantūros studijos. 1972 m. įkurtas universitetinis miestelis Šia Tino rajone.[6]

Struktūra

CUHK sudaro devyni koledžai, išlaikantys nemažą autonomiją nuo centrinės universiteto vadovybės. Juose yra aštuoni fakultetai: menų, vadybos, edukologijos, inžinerijos, medicinos, teisės, socialinių mokslų, gamtos mokslų.

Absolventai

Tarp žinomų žmonių, baigusiųjų Honkongo kiniškąjį universitetą, yra režisierius Wong Jing, kompozitorius Chan Wing-wah, matematikas Shing-Tung Yau, aktorius Chung King-fai ir kiti.
